FAQ

How large of a PDF can I summarize?
Text-based PDFs up to about 50 pages are supported. Longer documents are summarized from the first portion. Scanned (image-only) PDFs need OCR first and are not supported directly.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
The PDF is parsed locally in your browser. Only the extracted text is sent to the AI model for summarization. The file itself is never uploaded or stored.
What does the summary include?
Four parts: a core summary (3-5 sentences), 5-10 key points, important data (numbers and amounts found in the document), and action items if present. A long document becomes readable in minutes.
Does it work with English and Chinese documents?
Yes. Text-based PDFs in English, Chinese and many other languages are supported, and the summary is generated in the document's language.
Which AI model powers this?
GPT-5.6 Luna. It produces clear, well-structured summaries suitable for papers, contracts and reports.
Do I need to sign up or pay?
No. It's completely free with no account and no usage limits.
Can it summarize scanned PDFs?
Scanned (image) PDFs have no text layer. Run them through an OCR tool first, then summarize. Our image-to-text tool works well for this.
How accurate is the summary?
The model faithfully distills the source and lists key numbers separately. For important decisions, cross-check against the original document.
