How does the quality slider work?

The quality slider controls the compression level. Lower quality (e.g. 60%) produces smaller files but may lose some image detail; higher quality (e.g. 90%) retains more detail but produces larger files. This setting mainly affects JPG and WEBP.

Will compression seriously affect image quality?

For most scenarios, moderate compression (quality 80%-90%) shows no visible quality loss while significantly reducing file size. You can check the result via the preview and the estimated size before downloading.

Will my original file be modified?
